How I Rewired My Brain With Poetry

It took some time for me to get back into a writing groove after moving to London, so it feels especially sweet to have another essay published this week. It’s about how (and why) I rewired my brain with poetry (and lots of other books), and it’s in the Bustle books section.

Emily Dickinson figures prominently in the essay, as in my life. The medieval poet Rumi plays a role as well. You can read the essay on Bustle.
